Yugi having too deal with nervous Yo-Kai would be interesting. The encounter with the Yo-Kai having too involve Yugi's gentler spirit as Yami Yugi would not go over well.

Eventually the Yo-Kai calm down when they realize the owner of the powerful spirit is incredibly kind

One of his first encounters is with Brushido and Cadin who's haunt is a park next too a convienent store

Back too KN8 and Spectrobes

Brushido and Cadin would be a great help in explaining to Yugi about Yokai. His soul has been completely saturated with spiritual energy because of Yami. This instantly gave him the ability to see spirits and the looming fact that it's only going to get stronger his body adjusts.

Kafka is undoubtibly going to make a lot of Yo-Kai friends and I imagine that Kafka helping them makes the Yo-Kai want to help him in return, along with others. Like imagine major boss Yo-Kai defending certain areas, like SV Snaggerjag and Cap'n Crash defending major ports or Gutsy Bones defending major shopping districts. Major Shrines and Villages being defended by Yo-Kai that want to help out and it's all thanks to one Dad shaped man

Pretty much. Kafka checks up his Yokai companions just as they look after him. He can be considered a kindred spirit when it comes to Yokai. He does have problems in his life that he still struggles with but is willing to help someone out if need be. Even despite the numerous failed attempts at the Defense Force, Kafka bounces back up in some way. Hell, I'm pretty he would still help out the DF if the age limit wasn't raised to 33.

Yokai definitely make things easier for him when it comes to warding off Kaiju. Some of them have perished from these creatures' attacks and contributed to what people call strange miracles. Either inspiriting with negative effects to allow swift kills for the Defense Force or spiriting folks to safety.

Only a few superstitious folk believe that spirits had a hand in these miracles. Those who manage to come back from near death can see the Yokai without a Yokai Watch. Only hint anyone else has is a man with a strange watch often leaving behind an offering for someone or something.
